A stunning and incredibly rare 1960's Breitling Chameleon. This watch was an Asian Market Exclusive and is rarely seen for sale in Europe. This watch was designed to be the ultimate Cocktail Party watch, interchangable bezels & straps made it a versatile piece hence it's name "Chameleon".
CONDITION
Case: The delicate 19mm Gold Plated case is in remarkably good condition being over 65 years old. Some minor scratches but overall excellent condition.
Crystal: The crystal is in excellent condition with no obvious scratches or scuffs. Under magnification some small light scratches are visible.
Movement: This watch is fitted with a manual winding AS1012. This movement was first developed in the early 1900's by A. Schilds and was commonly used by Brielting, Tudor & Omega. It's in great working order and keeping good time.
Dial: The dial is in excellent condition. No scratches or signs of moisture damage.
Straps: This watch comes with 4 of its original Breitling branded straps (one of them is broken as it has become brittle with age).
Bezels: The multiple bezels are all in excellent condition and don't look they've had over 65 years of usage.
Box & Papers: This watch comes with its original box, 4 original straps present and all 11 of it's original bezels.
