This 1991 Gucci 9000M is a true icon of the Late 80's & 90's. This model was part of the big push by Gucci to be taken seriously in the watch world. Using the same movements found in Tag Heuer & Raymond Weil pieces this was Gucci's first iconic flagship. Finished in Steel & Gold with the iconic 'G' logo all over the watch and a classy Ivory Dial this is a terrific peice that has aged well. This is a very rare full set including the original bill of sale, both boxes & all manuals / warranty docs.
This particular example has been well preserved and shows very few signs of its age. Powered by an ETA derived 955.414 Quartz movement with quickset date function it is a great all rounder.
CONDITION
Case: Overall the 32mm stainless steel case is in excellent condition, it shows minimal signs of wear. While the 18k Yellow Gold plating is also in excellent condition. There is a small patch of oxidising plating near the 10 'o' 1clock position.
Crystal: The crystal is in great condition with no scratches.
Movement: The ETA Derived 956.114 is the original Gucci Signed movement which has just benefited from a service & is keeping perfect time.
Dial: The Beautiful Ivory dial is in Great condition and benefits the stunning applied golf Gucci Logo which gives the watch some unique character.
Strap: The Yellow Gold & Steel Bracelet is still in outstanding condition with very minimal signs of wear. All plating is in tact And the Gucci Signed clasp is in great condition.
Box & Papers: This watch is what's known as a 'Full Set' meaning we have the original Purchase Receipt (£382.50 in 1991 is equivalent to £910 Today!!), The Original Inner & Outer Box as well as the warranty card and manuals.
Waterproof: With this being a vintage watch we do not guarantee it's waterproof or water resistance status. All case gaskets are replaced as part of our standard preparation.
